Lamborghini Grande Giro - Judgment Day

The last Day of the Grand Giro trip in Italy was in Bologna and all of the 350 cars were parked in two main walking distance areas and Concourse d'Elegance judges were there to celebrate the 50th anniversary and award some winners and owners of the historical cars..

Some old Lamborghinis looked new to me.. you won't believe that these cars were stored from the 60s and 70s! very neat and taken care of.

As you can see from the picture above, the Muira and Countach look very outdated when compared to the Aventador in the picture below..

But, back in the 60s, the Muira was able to do figures like the 1998 Porsche Carrera!
While the countach was able to do 300+ km/h which is again a figure the Porsche Carrera can't do in 2013! or yet to be proven..

No company is brave enough to use these colours on some 400K$ cars.. And you wont go and buy an orange Enzo..

The legend, Mr. Valentino Balboni was there driving a black Muira..
Met him for the 2nd time.. and I was shocked he remembered me!!!!!

If you're not an old reader, here's my 2011 Interview with Mr.Balboni when he was one of the judges of the 2011 Concours d'Elegance Kuwait.

Yes! Shit happens..

And below you might enjoy some shots from the talented Feras Al-Farsi.

  1. It looks like many people here are looking for the original manufacturers specifications. I wanted to tell everyone about VehicleBios.com. It has free access to all specs for almost every auto and truck ever built! Hope this helps some people. Thank you, Rashida, Ten Doves"
