The big grille in the front, is so mean to be hated! Amazing creation by Zagato.

The whole body is made from light aluminum and feature the signature of the Zagato Design Firm, which is the double bubble roof

The side profile of the car, looks better than Jennifer Lopez in Bikini!

Everything in the car is shared with the Vantage S, the sportiest fastest production Aston on sale today, producing 510Bhp to the rear wheels. with an exceptional exhaust note. Not like the old racing I posted about earlier. but a more civilized one.

A normal car would take 200 hours to build, this V12 Zagato needs 2000 hours since every piece is made by hand and in a very limited numbers. Limited to 150 cars worldwide.

A Night at the bar

First of all, I dont drink.

And will never do.

But when I was in Bahrain, we pass by the bar in the Sofitel Hotel everyday. so my friend from the The Ventilation Dock blog suggested we take pictures since the lighting is amazing.

The Management approved the photography. so we started :)

The staff are so friendly and they enjoyed what we did cuz we kept showing them pictures.

I had to stand on a chair then up on the bar to be able to take this shot!

Porsche GT3 Cup Garage in BIC

Since I spend so much time in Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) driving and taking pictures of cars. I found an open pit, with lots of Porsches GT3 Cup cars inside being pampered by german staff.

I asked if I could take pictures, and they were so helpful.

You buy the car from Porsche directly for about 65,000 KD and you can get a proper training and get to race in the GT3 Cup Porsche Races. with maintenance team and storage.

Sofitel Bahrain is amazing.. we stay there now after we tried Banyan Tree and Gulf Hotel. This one is new and close to the track.

The hotel has lots of facilities and restaurants which makes it easy for you to stay and enjoy the selection of so many kitchens from so many parts of the continent.

Rooms are spacious and comfy.

And every room have a small balcony, enough for 5 people seated.

Now, Moving to the good part.. The Spa!

The offer many treatment types and therapists are well trained and friendly.

The waiting area.

Changing room.

Jacuzzi, Sauna and steam room.

Aqua Therapy.

This massage bed will be lowered into warm water. Where you can float, helps move muscles unintentionally.

Tropical shower massage.

And Now, The Gym.

Small but good for a weekend workout.

not for body builders, but for fitness and weight control.

Great 7 years of making something exceptional for cars enthusiasts.

After the Gathering, which I couldn't attend since I missed my flight in Riyadh.. there was a Car Wash event at Alfalah Car Wash

Then the car show at 360 Mall

Then The Main event in Bahrain.

So I went to Bahrain..

Cars were lapping the inner and outer circuit, Amazing feeling when the pass by the fence and you hear the sound and music they create.

The two orange cars got my attention most of the time, so you'll see them a lot.

The DJ played some of the most amazing remixes ever. Awesome dude!

After taking pictures in the pits, we went to some corners inside the track.

And that's what happen when ride a Vespa wearing dishdasha!

You can see the front of the car digging deep down under heavy breaking for cornering.

My friend MadToro was there giving some tips on photography.

GR branded Bike!

After a long day of racing and abusing cars.. GR got the track ready for the drivers to have a race at Bahrain International Karting Circuit. Read more about the Karting Here.

Porsche GT3 RS 4.0 Located in Bahrain

While in Bahrain, I saw few Porsches.

One of them was a GT3 RS.. I had to look, then I discovered that it is the limited edition 4.0 RS.

One of the best cars in history.

500 Bhp from a 4.0L normal aspirated boxer engine.

The owner removed all the silver stripes, so the car was completely white.

From the inside, it looks exactly the same as the 3.8.

with few emblems and stitching that shows what it really is.

It is numbers since it is limited to 600 cars worldwide. YES I am lucky.

This little fin mounted on the front spoiler generates 190 Kilograms added downforce for better handling during heavy track abuse.

If there's one car, ONE CAR I would dream of.. it would be this one. The Porsche GT3 RS 4.0

They have the best Karting track in the gulf so far. why ? Keep reading.

Registration and payment.

everything is automated. you register using a touch screen with your name, or Facebook account if you prefer.

Then you pay 10 BD for the 15 minutes session. and 2 BD for the card (One time only) and keep the card for future visits.

Go to the changing room, put your belonging in a locker.

Find your size and wear the racing suit, helmet and gloves. You can bring your own helmet if you have one already.

After you get ready, Briefing about racing rules. Do-s and Don't s.

Locate your name in the screen, and find out where's your car.

Get in and the race is on.

It is safe for adults and children, Boys and girls.

One of the best experiences ever.

You need to get familiar with the track in the first few laps. then you'll get better lap times the more you practice.

That's a screenshot of the timing from our last race.
As you can see.. I was first.
With more time on the track, you learn new stuff about the car and what's the correct racing lines to follow.
I went there four times, with total of 50 laps almost. and the best times is as follows :

1:08:702 mins
1:07:238 mins (1.5 sce quicker)
1:04:268 mins (3 sec quicker)
1:03:949 mins (0.4 sec quicker)

I really recommend it for fun, even for family gathering.

MOI allows car tinting in Kuwait - Finally!

Finally, The Ministry Of Interior allowed car tenting in Kuwait and it is legal.

Here's a copy I got from a friend about the law and some details.

In Bahrain and UAE I am sure that they have a law or a permit for tenting. In the GCC countries in general, the weather is too hot and sometimes car tenting is a must. people make sure to avoid police cars to avoid getting a ticket.

But not anymore..

I have two cars and will take them to Foil Art for some professional work and excellent service.

This car was debuted in 1978 and raced also, they were race by Niki Lauda and Nelson Piquet.

in 1981 the M1 ceased production with only 455 cars made with 56 made for racing.

I am lucky again, I saw a Ferrari 599 SA Aperta here in Kuwait. one of only 80 cars made.

The SA Aperta uses the same engine used for the 599 GTO, due to its heavier weight and body dynamics. It is the only topless 599 so far, just like the last 575 Panamerica.

In november alone I travelled 3 times.. so I needed a charger to be with me everywhere.. especially in Hajj.

So I asked how2q8 about chargers, and he recommended it. So I went and got it for 45 KD. which is almost triple the price in Amazon.

In order to review the charger, we abused it.

During Hajj.. I used to charge my BB and iPhone 4 for 10 days without recharging the battery. and it did last the whole period.

And as you see in the 1st picture, we did abused it in Dubai too during my trip to the motor show. we had more than one device hooked to the iSound at all times.

Currently it is the only portable charger with 5 USB ports. and LED light.

It comes with 4 small indicators to tell what's remaining so you know when to charge it.

All in all, The best available in the market and highly recommend it if you're a traveller. or for camping and long fishing trips.

GulfRun 26 Hours Karting Endurance Race - Part2

The last hours of the GR Karting endurance race are getting faster and faster with three teams battling for the first place.

And I gotta get some shots before its dark again..

There were lots of sleeping bags and caravans for drivers and team managers to rest a bit.. but eventually, no one did!

GulfRun 26 Hours Karting Endurance Race - Part1

The first of its kind in the middle east.

GulfRun really and finally did it with their 26 hours Karting Endurance Race in Kuwait. No one can say it ease to manage or even organize such an event.

The race Started at 3 pm Kuwait local time during one of those cold cloudy November days in Mishref fairgrounds. I could not attend the opening and starting of the race due to some commitments.

I will share with you some of the pictures, since the total of pictures is 1000+

Marshalls did a great job by preventing any accidents and being alert for 26 hours, working in different shifts. some of them even didn't get an hour of rest. Great Job!
